Although considering the growth of outsourcing market where IBM, HP, Microsoft, Siemens, Unisys and other corporates are adding staff in China and the country which has already good presence of giant like Wipro, Tata & Infosys and others.
However the U.S. Department of State said it won’t use Lenovo computers on a classified network because of ongoing concerns about the company’s Chinese government ties. The State Department’s decision comes after House Rep. Frank Wolf recently objected to the use of Lenovo’s computers in a classified network connecting U.S. embassies and consulates.
Referring to the objection by Frank Wolf, as far as security implication is concerned everyone should be careful before outsourcing work to a third party, especially to those overseas firms where the laws concerning intellectual property and privacy seems not restrained and formal.

Wipro Technologies Chairman disagreed that outsourcing is stealing high-paying American tech jobs. According to Azim Premji the chairman, the United States should be more worried about what is taught in its classrooms — or, rather, what isn’t.
“In fact, there is a shortage of information technology engineers in the United States, said Premji, who in four decades has led Wipro from a US$2 million cooking-oil processing company to a $2.4 billion global technology player. In its most recent quarter, the Bangalore-based company reported $765 million in revenue, a 41 percent increase from a year earlier, with profits of $152 million, a 48 percent jump”.
